Route 4/242 Ramp Widening, Metering & TOS

Job Description: This project consisted of the widening of 11 individual on-ramps and install ramp metering along an 8 mile stretch of Route 4, from Martinez to Concord.  This project consists of installing four soil-nail walls and three retaining walls, underground utilities, paving, installing traffic operations systems on Route 4/242 from Martinez to Pittsburg, and earthwork, including managing material containing hazardous waste concentrations of aerially deposited lead.
